Research questions: 

1. How do individuals value the importance of various health-related factors when deciding to walk, including considerations such as air quality, physical activity, traffic injury, and temperature? 

2. How do individuals evaluate the combined impact of these health-related factors when choosing to walk for transportation and leisure? 

3. Are people’s attitudes toward health-related factors consistent with their behavior preferences for walking as a mode of transportation?
