Hi, I'm Yicong

I’m a social science researcher specializing in travel behavior, health-oriented transportation, and econometrics. I have an interdisciplinary background in urban design, planning, and geography. 

My research focuses on investigating the impact of transport policies and investments on travel behavior and exploring human-centered interventions to nudge travel behavior toward sustainable transportation that improves public health. 

I'm an advocate for social equity and environmental justice. 

I obtained my Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am currently working as a transportation planner at the California Department of Transportation.
